Hello to everyone, I am very excited to say that I have won a Bead Challenge, this is the bi monthly one on the The Angry Mandrel forum, prizes were given by Karen Leonardo so lucky me as I have won some nice new shiny tools. My entry is below and the link to Karen's website can be found on my links page.

I have also been very busy making new beads and exploring all sorts of possibilities, I have yearned for a long time to make a mermaid bead but my efforts have not been very satisfactory, however I finally made a bead that is almost what I want, see below. I will have to keep trying and one day I might come up with one that is exactly right. Hope so. Making this one has given me some new ideas, so watch this space.

Hi everyone, hope you are all feeling very seasonal, just posting this note to say look out for me in The BEAD MAGAZINE, I am featured in the Feb/March 2008 issue.

I have been making lots of new beads but just haven't found the time to post them up for sale recently so expect loads quite soon.

I am off to Diana Easts at the weekend, she is officially opening her new studio in Leicester, its an open day so any visitors are welcome. It should be a fun weekend with old friends and maybe some new ones.

Maybe its a bit early but I wish you all a lovely Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

Problems with my website

I apologise to everyone who is experiencing problems seeing photos on my website. The site I use has been upgrading for 3 weeks now and its causing me loads of problems. Apparently if you delete your browser files in "Tools" then you should be able to see the photos, however I have discovered this doesen't work for everyone. Please bear with me whilst I decide what to do about this.

I am off to Harrow on Sunday for the beadfair, if anyone is coming I look forward to seeing you there.

Stourbridge Bead Fair

Just wanted to say hi to everyone who I met in person at the Stourbridge Bead Fair yesterday, I had a lovely day and I hope you all did too.

It was really nice to meet some of the people who have been buying my beads over the last few months and longer. Thank you all.

I am having a bit of a tidy up of my website as I am terribly bored with it, in particular I have removed all the focals and am starting there and will be posting some new ones soon. As regards the sets I will still leave some sold ones on there so people can ask me to make something similar and it gives you an idea of what is possible if nothing else.

Thank you everyone for your support and making it possible for me to do what I love best in life, make beads.

Sorry there have been no new beads for awhile

Hi everyone, I have been so busy with moving house, then the floods in this area and lack of water and now I have the Stourbridge Beadfair on Sunday 26th August. So consequently I haven't put any new beads up for sale for a couple of weeks, I do apologise but hopefully by next weekend I shall be back to normal and posting new beads on a weekly basis as usual and perhaps even more often.

If anyone would like to join my mailing list please email me to let me know and I will add you to my list. My intention is just to send out a quick standard email to let you know when there are new beads.

If anyone is at the Stourbridge Beadfair on Sunday then do come and introduce yourself, would love to meet you. I have some quite nice beads to sell now and am really looking forward to the day. My next fair is Harrow in October so maybe some of you could make it there instead.

I am in my new house

Hi there, yes I am moved in and everything is marvellous now that I have all my things around me. It all went as smoothly as these things can, oh apart from a gas leak, but all sorted now.

Needless to say I have been making beads and I am posting a photo here of one of my more unusual ones, haven't decided about selling it yet.

Moving house

Just to let you all know, I am moving house so any beads that are ordered will be reserved for you but I can't send them until Saturday 30th June.

I haven't put any new beads up for sale for the same reason, so expect lots of new ones at the weekend.

Well not really sad but I can't load pictures onto my site, so sorry everyone, although I have beads for sale I can't do anything until the site gets fixed. This is the second time this has happened in a week and I am getting very frustrated.
